Danielle Barrios
Leadership Luminary
Danielle Barrios grew up in Bergen County, NJ, before embarking on her educational journey at Drexel University in Philadelphia. There, she earned her BS in health sciences and delved into research on melanoma at the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania during a gap year. Her passion for healthcare led her to Rutgers PA school, where she pursued her dreams of becoming a physician assistant.
Since graduating from PA school, Danielle has dedicated herself to serving the community as an outpatient pediatric PA in Manahawkin, NJ. Last year, she also became a licensed lactation consultant, driven by her desire to empower mothers with the knowledge to care for their children confidently.
Joining the Female Forward Alliance (FFA) was a natural step for Danielle, motivated by her commitment to community service and her desire to instill these values in her two young boys. She sees FFA as a platform to demonstrate the incredible capabilities of women and to contribute to making their community a better place.
Danielle's journey is marked by her experiences as a student volunteer on a medical mission with Operation Smile in Mae Sot, Thailand, where she witnessed the transformative power of compassionate care and community service firsthand.
